Yes. It's called pre-trial release.

If you can convince the judge that you are not a risk of flight, that you don't present a danger to the community, and you are not a threat to the “victim”; then the judge can release you on pre-trial release.

Pre-Trial-Release (also known as Release On One’s Own Recognizance or ROR) is usually given only on minor non-violent Misdemeanor cases and Misdemeanor drug charges.

The down-side of Pre-trial Release is the special conditions: Daily check-ins, phone monitoring, GPS monitoring, and many (any) other conditions the Judge and/or prosecutor can come up with.
